The MAAFOR DRESS (the genesis piece)

MAFOR , My Genesis This is not just a dress to me. MAFOR is my final year project, my sleepless nights, my tears, my pride. It's the first time I truly saw myself as a designer, not just a student. I named it MAFOR, which means Queen Mother in my culture in the Northwest. Because that's how I felt when I wore it ;powerful, rooted, royal. From the first sketch on paper to the last stitch, I did it MAFOR is me saying: I am a Northwest girl, and I am here to take space in fashion. This is where FRIMA begins.
